This is the final version of my minimal poem. The first design stays within the grid whereas everything is on a horizontal line. In altering it the space is now broken up and of course more interesting.
With the Junkanoo Culture poem i did this minimal design of squares to emphasize the repetition of "Staccato beats of the bass drum". Even though junkanoo is filled with very festive colors i choose black white and gray to add to its minimal qualities and to show the very culture of junkanoo minus the color.
